Often times people tell me they want to get published but are afraid of research or don’t know where to start.
This is a normal feeling, but don’t let the fear prevent you from working on a manuscript for publication.

The American Journal of Nursing has a series of four articles to help you navigate the writing process including what types of articles to write.
I highly recommend you first think of a topic you are passionate about.
Then, think of what type of writing you want to do. Do you have a case study that reflects your topic? Is this a topic that you want to conduct research on to identify a gap and ten write about that? Is this first-hand experience that others would benefit from knowing?
My call to action is for you to set a goal this year and make it happen. There are so many editors for journals that offer support and guidance, you just have to reach out.
