The Prehospital Blood Transfusion Summit will address evidence-based practices for blood programs, research relating to prehospital blood administration for adults and children, successful program components, and opportunities for collaboration with blood suppliers. More than 200 EMS agencies nationwide currently have the ability to administer blood to critically injured or ill patients, resulting in improved outcomes.
