Today, a title that caught my attention was, “Unusual surge of ‘walking pneumonia’ reported among kids.”
There are so many kids being hospitalized and in the ICU as a result of pneumonia and it is alarming! Having recently been diagnosed with pneumonia and the extreme shortness of breath and fatigue I experienced, I can’t imagine how the children are feeling!
As we get ready for respiratory season to really “hit,” what are proactive measures you or your organizations are doing to promote public health and increase education to the pediatric population?
Hand hygiene is the easiest way to stop the spread of infections. There are so many innovative to teach kids, including songs and dances.
