The goal of this 11-session course is to equip health professionals, federal, regional and local health systems planners, hospital administrators, emergency planners, sustainability officers, public health officials, and others with the knowledge and tools needed to rapidly scale-up* adaptation, mitigation, and resilience efforts to prepare health systems for climate change. Call to Action: Learning about the risks of climate change to better meet the needs of children
- Scaling-up health adaptation means developing and implementing needed measures faster and more widely geographically and among at risk populations and WHO estimates that over 50% of the population impacted by Climate Change by 2030 will be children.
- Calling on Pediatric providers and educators to participate in programs like this to ensure the needs of children are met.
- Share with appropriate members of your pediatric provider, emergency management, public health, and environmental health communities.
