The weather made many children “orphans” in our last day of training, and these PAs were incredible.

From coming up with age-appropriate activities to keep the children occupied and distracted. These PAs impressed me with their innovative ways to support the children that were “displaced” as a result of a “landslide” and “flooding.”

One thing that stood out the most was the specific “ID Bands” they placed on the children. These aren’t your typical “triage tags” that you would see in your MCI kits, but was a “visual” for all providers to know that these children were now orphans.

Looking forward to the incredible things these PAs will do in Humanitarian and Global Health around the world.
