
May is recognized as Mental Health Awareness month, however I want to stress the importance of being aware of your own mental health and that of others, everyday.
We are all going through things that challenge us in more ways than we can handle. Make it an effort this month to reach out to someone you haven’t talked to in a while.
More importantly, how’s YOUR mental health? When was the last time you did a status check on what is going on with you?
Though the stigma still exists, I am not ashamed to say that seeking out therapy has helped me process things that have happened in my life and there’s nothing wrong with needing to talk to someone.

This May, change your mentality, be positive and start by checking in with yourself.
