
So many times, I have reached out to others for support, only to have them do what works best for them and not you.
Personally, I like to be by myself when I am going through a difficult time. My friends push me to go out or come over. While I understand them wanting to help me, it actually does more harm than good.
The point of this post is to remind us all to speak up about what we want and need and what works best for us.
Make a conscious effort to do what is best for YOU. Your mental health matters. You matter. Don’t let ‘noise’ of what is happening around you, settle for things that disturb your peace.
It’s amazing what you can do when you change your mind.
