I am grateful for opportunities to co-author articles with colleagues on topics that are relevant to the nursing profession.

Strategies to Prevent and Effectively Respond to Compassion Fatigue and Burnout – ScienceDirect
The Journal of Emergency Nursing is a peer reviewed global resource for emergency nursing, and I am honored to be a part of the executive board, the section editor on disasters, and an author.
During Ramadan, I am grateful for the opportunity to share information with others and Compassion Fatigue and Burnout is not new. Although I have made it very clear that these issues are not new and how the term “burnout” is used for everything, I also recognize that it is real and most of us have been experiencing it for years.
This article provides alternatives to mitigate the stressful challenges we face in our daily lives. Please note that the examples in the article are not all inclusive. There is so much more that we can do and there are many other alternative therapies, and I welcome feedback on the article.
I want this post to serve as an open invitation for anyone interested in publishing, to reach out. That is one of my goals this month of Ramadan is to support someone in achieving their writing goal.
