One of the things I learned early on in my career is how to navigate difficult situations. Let me be clear, I am still learning!
There are many lessons I learned that I use in my personal life which is the impetuous for this post today.
There are many things happening in the world that may make us doubt our ability to overcome the challenges we are presented with. I, too, feel overwhelmed at times, and though I have my faith to ground me, I often doubt my ability to lead.
One thing I want to stress is to NOT get sucked in to the negative and toxicity around you. Yes, it is easier said than done, but I don’t think we realize how much that impacts our mental health.
Please remember, in times of uncertainty to reach out to your mentors, those that support you and those that want you to be successful. We all need a sounding board, someone who can offer advice, but not be judgmental.

If you are a leader, consider following the tips below as you navigate a challenge int he workplace. Consider sharing with your employees or colleagues.

Below are a list of articles about crisis leadership. It is important to note that, the lessons can be used in personal lives as well as our professional lives. Some of these articles include lessons learned since COVID, but I have included others that are not pandemic related. This is not an all-inclusive list.
If you have an article to share, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
