I planned on sharing pictures everyday this month of me throughout my career in different roles of my nursing career.

I had ever intention to highlight the variety of roles a nurse can have in their career in hopes of inspiring others to continue to seek out opportunities that they may find interesting.

However, I struggle to celebrate the month when nurses across the country in Palestine don’t have that same opportunity. In fact, these nurses are working without pay, leaving their families only to find them deceased after being bombed, and as targets while working in the hospitals.

This is a call to action. This is not political. This is a human rights issue that we are witnessing, and we all need to stand together and support ending the slaughtering of innocent women and children. The relentless bombing of hospitals and “safe zones.”
