A new day. A new month. A new outlook.
So often people make New Year’s resolutions without committing to them or achieving them. Why not set daily goals? Better yet, monthly goals?
I have written out the goals/tasks that I want to achieve and accomplish this month. This includes rearranging my office or going through old files. The task is important for me, and it doesn’t have to be some big, elaborate project.
I started out my morning smelling the beautiful bouquet of flowers that was gifted to me, and enjoying my hot cup of coffee, while reading the latest edition of the Journal of Emergency Nursing.

I then focused my energy on strategizing what I wanted to get done this month. Even if I don’t get everything done, I am prioritizing my mental health and what makes me happy.
