One of my favorite things to do is talk about disasters and discuss preparedness measures, especially for limited-resourced communities. The ability to share information is something that I often talk about as it relates to not working in silos and gatekeeping information.

I am looking forward to presenting alongside experts in the field on disasters and public health in Anchorage, Alaska this May.

My presentations will cover the role of nurses in disasters, supply chain challenges and patient movement strategies, as well as addressing the overlooked aspects in disaster planning in emergency situations.
