I have been fortunate to deploy to provide care to individuals impacted by disasters. This is not something I take lightly.

However, there are some specific challenges that impact female responders on deployment.

The purpose of this study is not to take away from the mission, but rather to gain insight into the challenges of females deploying and identify ways to mitigate those challenges for future deployments. Additionally, the information will be helpful for females choosing to deploy in the future.
