I was blessed to share three presentations on pediatrics and disasters.

In addition, I collaborated on research for three separate posters that garnered so much attention for the vast uniqueness of it. I could not have done all this by myself, in fact, I didn’t.

My friend and fellow disaster physician, Dana, has not only been supportive and up for any crazy idea that I run past her, but she is engaged and makes it happen.

Surround yourself with people that are passionate about disasters or the same things you are. Encourage them to share their projects with others, because there are so many people that can benefit from the information.
Lastly, you know you have a supportive framily, when they willingly sit through hours of pediatric presentations, just to be there to hear you speak. For this, I will forever be grateful for their patience and dedication, and unwavering commitment to support one another.
