Anytime I present I like to wear a traditional outfit and leave with a call to action.

The room was so hot and I’m glad I chose a bright, light dress! I’m also grateful for opportunities to share content on topics I am passionate about.

With that being said…the Journal of Emergency Nursing is accepting original papers on best practices in equitable care, bias reduction, social determinants of health and cultural competency in emergency nursing.

Deadline to submit is Aug. 15. If you have a manuscript you want to write on any of those topics or anything disaster or preparedness related, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

My call to action is for us to work together to share information that will better the populations in which we live and serve. The more we work in silos, the less we achieve.
