Module 1 Introduction to Pediatric Disaster Medicine: This case-based module equips pediatricians with essential strategies to prepare for, respond to, and assist in recovering from disasters affecting children. By understanding the unique vulnerabilities of pediatric patients, healthcare professionals can play a critical role in mitigating risks and improving outcomes during crises.
Module 2 Pediatric Behavioral Health: This case-based module equips pediatric healthcare professionals with strategies to identify and address mental health issues in children affected by disasters, aiding in better support for pediatric patients and their families.
Module 3 Trauma Triage and EMS in Disaster: This case-based, question-style course offers crucial knowledge and skills, empowering medical professionals to respond to pediatric emergencies in chaotic environments effectively. Participants will have an opportunity to practice what they learn through a number of simulated games.
